- Plesk for Linux
- Plesk for Windows
- Plesk Security Advisor has a message, that panel is not secured even if it is. Certificate is uploaded in Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS certificates.
- A domain is using CloudFlare proxy and resolves globally to a different IP address.
- openssl command gives empty output:
# openssl s_client -showcerts -connect example.com:8443
140039539136328:error:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure:s23_clnt.c:744:
no peer certificate available
No client certificate CA names sent
SSL handshake has read 7 bytes and written 247 bytes
New, (NONE), Cipher is (NONE)
Secure Renegotiation IS NOT supported
This is expected Plesk behavior.
Certificate, that is installed locally is not seen globally by SSL checker. The message may be safely ignored because Plesk is secured. It is possible, for sure, upload certificate to CloudFlare, however, it will not respond to the https://example.com:8443 request, so there is no need to do that.
