Why are NS records added to file named.conf with Slave DNS extension installed? Is it possible to remove them?
It is behavior by design and these NS IP addresses are added automatically by Plesk, it is not possible to remove them.
It is the expected behavior of adding IP addresses of NS servers to file named.conf. Records are automatically added by Plesk. This can help with implementing another solution for zone transfer and slave DNS setup, also there can be another implementation even though Slave DNS extension is used. There is no issue with allowing a server (specified as NS server in DNS Settings) to get a copy of zone file from the server where domains are hosted.
