Backup of remote database fails:
PLESK_INFO: Unable to backup database content. Database admin_. Db server 203.0.113.2: [Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'.]
Error in Event Viewer > Security log on the remote MS SQL server:
CONFIG_TEXT: Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'. Reason: Could not find a login matching the name provided. [CLIENT: 203.0.113.1]
The solution from this article does not help
MS SQL administrator password contains one or more of following symbols:
Plesk issue with ID #PPPM-7863 fixed in Plesk Onyx 17.8 on April 17th, 2018.
For Plesk Onyx 17.8, install the latest Plesk micro-updates.
For Plesk Onyx 17.0 and 17.5, consider upgrading to the latest Plesk version.
- Log in to Plesk
- Navigate to Tools & Settings > Database Servers > <Remote MS SQL instance>.
- Click on Change Password and specify the password without the special symbols.
- Click OK
