- Plesk Onyx for Linux
How to secure webmail using Let's Encrypt in Plesk Onyx?
Note: If there are no such menus in Plesk, please contact your server's administrator or hosting provider. Otherwise, upgrade your Plesk version.
This feature is available since Let's Encrypt 2.1.0 extension which was released on May 19. Make sure that it is updated/installed in Plesk > Extensions. The domain should have hosting, only then will be possible to install Let's Encrypt SSL certificate.
Perform the following instructions:
- Make sure that there is no wildcard domain like '*.example.com' or 'webmail.example.com' present on subscription in Plesk(Plesk > Domains) that is required to secure. Remove it if found.
- Obtain a new Let's Encrypt certificate in Domains > example.com > Let's Encrypt
Select Secure webmail on this domain and Include a "www"... if your domain has configured www prefix. Click Install
- It is also possible to secure webmail using existing Let's Encrypt certificate in Domains > example.com > SSL Certificates clicking Secure Webmail
