How to secure webmail using Let's Encrypt in Plesk Onyx?
Note: The domain has to have hosting enabled to be able to install a Let's Encrypt certificate.
Perform the following instructions:
Go to Subscriptions > example.com and make sure that a wildcard domain
webmail.example.comare not present on the subscription that is required to secure.
If any, rename or remove it, otherwise it'll not be possible to issue a Let's Encrypt certificate for
Obtain a new Let's Encrypt certificate going to Domains > example.com > Let's Encrypt > Make sure the option Secure webmail on this domain is enabled > Click on Install:
If the SSL It! extension is installed, go to Domains > example.com > SSL/TLS Certificates > Get it free > Secure the domain and the selected components > Secure webmail on this domain > Get it free:
Go to Domains > example.com > Mail Settings > Verify that the Let's Encrypt certificate is assigned in SSL/TLS certificate for webmail > Click OK to apply changes:
