Unable to access Plesk: The amount of currently used resources overrides the limits defined by your license

Symptoms

  • Unable to log into Plesk, the following error is shown:

        The license key is invalid. In order to use the Panel, please obtain and install a new valid license key.
    The amount of currently used resources overrides the limits defined by your license.
    The number of websites hosted on the server exceeds the limits defined by your license. You have 4 sites hosted; your license allows hosting only 0 sites.
    The number of served email accounts exceeds the limits defined by your license. You have 7 email accounts currently served; your license allows serving only 0 email accounts.
  • The license does not renew automatically.

  • The license includes the PowerPack feature.

Cause

The license includes a PowerPack feature which has the Unity Mobile service.

This service has been shut down by its developers and its license keys have been terminated.

Resolution

  1. Get your license file or activation code and install it in Plesk:

  2. If you are a Plesk Partner, download license from Key Administrator or contact your Sales Representative.

  3. If you have purchased your license from Plesk Online Store, follow these steps or contact Plesk Sales Team .

  4. If you have purchased your Plesk license from a Plesk Partner, please contact your provider.

  5. If you do not know where you have purchased your license, contact Plesk Sales Team .

  6. If the access to Plesk is possible, go to Plesk > Tools & Settings > License Managements and click Retrieve Keys .

  7. Go to Plesk > Tools & Settings > License Managements > Additional Keys .

  8. Remove unity-mobile license key.
