Cannot install an application: Unable to load the domain (HOSTNAME) user (Plesk Administrator) profile

Symptoms

The following error has occurred during the installation of application:

Installation of WordPress at http:/example.com/ failed. Unable to load the domain (HOSTNAME) user (Plesk Administrator) profile: (2) The system cannot find the file specified.
at Plesk impersonation(PipeServer::ServerThread::impersonateRunAs line 764)
at Unable to unpack archive C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\/var/apspackages\\5a08b26d-e746-4194-8e19-22df75c783fb.zip(UnpackArchive::onRunAsUser line 2702)

Cause

Corrupted Plesk Administrator account.

Resolution

  1. Rename the existing Plesk Administrator account at Computer Management > System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Users > Plesk Administrator

  2. Create a new Plesk Administrator account:

    "%plesk_bin%/usermng.exe" --install-plesk-admin
