Permissions Grant the ALTER DATABASE permission to all Microsoft SQL Server database users is granted in Tools and Settings > Database Servers > Settings

Cause

DotNetNuke version 8.0 is not supported in Plesk. Install DotNetNuke 7.0 from Plesk application catalog in Domains > example.com > Applications > All Available Applications

Workaround

Grant db_owner permissions for database user in SQL Management Studio directly in order to install DotNetNuke 8:

Security > Logins > click on required database user > Properties > User Mapping

Or the same permission can be manually granted from Plesk interface using MyLittleAdmin or PHPMyAdmin (allowed for only Plesk admin): login to Plesk as admin, go to Tools and Settings > Database Servers, click on "Access this server via DB Webadmin"

If MyLittleAdmin is used, go to Tools > New Query , select required database and run the following command:

exec sp_addrolemember 'db_owner', 'your_database_username';

If PHPMyAdmin is used, choose the table in question, click SQL tab and run the same command.

Additional information

#213908305 After migration to Plesk 12, db_owner role is disabled
