It is not possible to access File Sharing tab under Plesk subscription user: Internal error

Symptoms

  • It is not possible to access the File Sharing tab under a Plesk subscription user with the error:

    PLESK_ERROR: Internal error

    PLESK_ERROR: Internal error: Method Not Allowed

  • The following error can be found in %plesk_dir%admin\logs\php_error.logfile:

    CONFIG_TEXT: INFO [panel] Actual url: https://filesharing.example.com:443/files/private/admin/
    ERR [panel] File sharing list retrieval failed: sharing type=private, code=500, error=Internal Server Error

Cause

The broken secure links of files and folders that belong to the subscription user.

Resolution

  1. Log into Plesk.
  2. Go to Tools & Settings > File Sharing.
  3. Disable the Generate secure links to files and folders option.
  4. Press the Apply button.
  5. Enable back the Generate secure links to files and folders option.
  6. Press the OK button to apply the changes.

    Please, clarify the issue and share the screenshots of the error, what tools and/or Plesk components are you using?

    i'll get in plesk domain protocol the following error messages:

    404 PROPFIND

    401 PROPFIND

    207 PROPFIND

    upload, download, view, edit is broken only directory listing is working with correct filesizes.
