Mail Enable is not visible in Plesk

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.5 for Windows

Symptoms

  • Mail server settings are absent in Plesk Tools & Settings , but MailEnable mailserver is visible in ' Server Components ' list
  • Mail Enable admin interface is not accessible.
  • Attempt to activate MailEnable support in Plesk failed

Cause

MailEnable installation either corrupted or it was manually moved to another location

Resolution

Open registry editor

  1. Backup HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\Mail Enable\\Mail Enable via 'Export'
  2. Explore all subkeys and replace all old paths to actual location.
  3. Re-run MailEnable setup
  4. Activate MailEnable in Tools & Settings-> Server Components
