How to enable keep-alive for a website hosted on Windows Server?
Note: This guide is intended for Plesk administrators with RDP access to the server. If you are a domain owner, please contact your service provider for assistance with enabling the keep-alive setting.
Connect to a Plesk server via RDP.
Launch Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager at Windows Start > All Programs.
In IIS Manager, expand SERVERNAME > Sites and double-click on the required website.
In the website dashboard, click HTTP Responce Headers.
Click Set Common Headers... in the right pane.
Enable Expire Web content and choose After.
Select the amount of after which browser cache will be updated.
- Click OK to apply this setting.
