How to disable integration with Sitebuilder

Applicable to:

  • Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 for Linux
  • Plesk 9.x and below for Linux

Question

There is a submenu Sitebuilder in the main menu of Plesk. Using this menu it is possible to manage Users and Sites of integrated Sitebuilder. How to remove the submenu and disable integration with Sitebuilder?

Answer

By default, Plesk uses the local Sitebuilder server. However, registration of external Sitebuilder server is also possible.

The integration parameters are stored in the tables psa.SBConfig , psa.SBResellers and psa.SBSites of the Plesk database.

To disable integration with Sitebuilder it is required to remove the records from all these tables. Remember to backup the database before modifying it:

# MYSQL_PWD=`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` mysqldump -u admin psa > psa`date +%F_%H.%M`.sql

Delete the records:

# MYSQL_PWD=`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` mysql -u admin psa -e"delete from SBConfig"
# MYSQL_PWD=`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` mysql -u admin psa -e"delete from SBResellers"
# MYSQL_PWD=`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` mysql -u admin psa -e"delete from SBSites"
