Cause

This is Plesk internal issue #PPPM-3428 , which has been fixed in microupdate #8 .

Resolution

Install latest Plesk updates:

# plesk installer install-all-updates

Workaround

  1. Create a backup of /etc/cron.hourly/plesk-php-cleanuper :

    # cp -p /etc/cron.hourly/plesk-php-cleanuper /root/plesk-php-cleanuper
  2. Disable error output.

    Add 2>/dev/null to the end of the script /etc/cron.hourly/plesk-php-cleanuper :

    # cat /etc/cron.hourly/plesk-php-cleanuper | grep plesk-9.0
    [ -x /usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/maxlifetime ] && [ -d /var/lib/php/session ] && /usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/php_session_cleaner /var/lib/php/session $(/usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/maxlifetime) 2>/dev/null
