Unable to migrate subscription: Failed to restore hosting settings of subscription

Symptoms

Unable to migrate subscription, the following error occurs in Plesk Migrator interface:

Detailed Migration Status

|
`- Administrator

|
`- Subscription 'domain.tld'

|
|- error: Failed to restore hosting settings of subscription 'domain.tld'
| Migration tools tried to perform operation in 3 attempts.
| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
| Attempt #1 failed with the following error:
| Restoration of subscription failed: no task ID was returned by pmmcli.
| Check debug.log and PMM restoration logs for more details.

Cause

The issue is caused by IP addresses conflict and is known as software issue with id #PMT-2473 .

Resolution

The fix will be applied in further updates of Plesk migrator.

As workaround, find out what type of IP address is using in subscription on source server and destination server. This can be done in Plesk > Subscriptions > domain.tld > Web Hosting Access > IP Addresses .

If subscription on the source server is configured on dedicated IP address and source server contains only one shared IP address, consider to change type of subscription IP address on source server from dedicated to shared in Plesk > Subscriptions > domain.tld > Web Hosting Access > IP Addresses .
