Application Vault cannot be opened with the following error:

While trying to perform server backup, the following error is shown:

MySQL 5.5 or higher is being used.
The version of the
mysql-connectorpackages is lower than 5.3:
# rpm -qa | grep mysql-connector
The package of
mysql-connector is outdated.
Connect to the Plesk server via SSH.
mysql-connectorpackage with the command:
# yum install mysql-connector
If a newer package was not found, download and install the required version from the official MySQL website.
Below is an example for CentOS/RHEL 6 x64 systems:
Download the package:
The command to download this file will be:
# wget -P /root https://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/Connector-ODBC/5.3/mysql-connector-odbc-5.3.9-1.el6.x86_64.rpm
Install the package with the command:
# rpm -ivh /root/mysql-connector-odbc-5.3.9-1.el6.x86_64.rpm
Open the file
/etc/odbcinst.iniin any editor and set the correct path to libraries as follows:
Description = MySQL driver for Plesk
Driver = /usr/lib64/libmyodbc5w.so
FileUsage = 1
Driver64 = /usr/lib64/libmyodbc5w.so
UsageCount = 1
Create a symbolic link to
# ln -s /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock /tmp/mysql.sock
