Different statistics values for SSL and non SSL traffic

Applicable to:

  • Plesk for Linux
  1. The link https://example.com/plesk-stat/webstat in Domains > example.com > Web Statistics does not show SSL traffic statistics or statistics is empty.

  2. Statistics recalculation does not update webstat details in Domains > example.com > Web Statistics

  3. There are different statistics values under HTTP field of traffic box under Home > Subscriptions > Subscription > Statistics and total viewed traffic web statistics.

  4. There is no statistics available for domains with enabled SSL.

Cause

Plesk statistics is calculated separately for SSL and non-SSL traffic. The Web Statistics button in Plesk points to the non-SSL stats. Currently, there is no separate button for viewing SSL-traffic statistics.

This is Plesk bug with ID #PPPM-548 that will be fixed in the future Plesk updates.

Resolution

As a workaround, SSL traffic statistics can be accessed using the following link:

https://example.com/plesk-stat/webstat-ssl

FTP statistics can be accessed using the following link:

https://example.com/plesk-stat/ftpstat
https://example.co/plesk-stat/anon_ftpstat
