[HOW TO] Disable root login into Plesk 12.5?

Question

How to disable access to Plesk with the root (on Linux) or Administrator (on Windows) credentials?

Answer

  1. Open the panel.ini file (located in /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/panel.ini on Linux or C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\admin\\conf\\panel.ini on Windows).

  2. Add the following line to the panel.ini file, section [login] :

    [login]
    systemAdmin = false
