Timestamp in Plesk File Manager is not changed after changing timezone.

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.5 for Linux

Symptoms

Correct time zone is set in Plesk > Tools and Settings > System time . But incorrect timestamp is shown in File Manager.

Cause

This is Plesk internal issue with ID PPPM-4501 , which is planned to be fixed in future Plesk updates.

Workaround

  1. Modify Plesk configuration file php.ini and add timezone like below (set the required timezone):

    # grep zone /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/php.ini
    date.timezone = "Europe/Lisbon"
  2. Restart Plesk to apply changes:

    # service psa restart
