Cannot access Backup Manager: Unable to get dump list

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.0 for Linux

Symptoms

  1. The following error occurs while accessing Backup Manager :

    Error: Unable to get dump list: FTP dump file does not exists
  2. The following error in panel.log with debug mode enabled (check KB#213408889 to find how to enable debug mode):

    [2016-06-09 17:09:29] ERR [panel] Unable to get dump list: FTP dump file does not exists
  3. The following error occurs if get dump list from command line:

    # /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/pmm-ras --get-dump-list --dump-storage=/var/lib/psa/dumps/
    /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/pmm-ras: error while loading shared libraries: libjson-c.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Cause

Missing libjson-c.so.2 library.

Resolution

  1. Find and download json-c package for the OS installed.
  2. Update package, e.g. for CentOS 6:
    # rpm -Uvh json-c-0.11-12.el6.x86_64.rpm
