Unable to access Application Vault: Can't open lib '/usr/lib64/libmyodbc5.so' : file not found

Symptoms

Application vault ( Plesk Control panel >Tools and Settings>Application vault ) shows the following error:

Message ODBC error #01000: [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Can't open lib '/usr/lib64/libmyodbc5.so' : file not found

Cause

This issue happens as there is no library file /usr/lib64/libmyodbc5.so .

Resolution

Check if the mentioned file exists, it should look as below:

    # ls -la /usr/lib64/libmyodbc5.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 Jun 6 2014 /usr/lib64/libmyodbc5.so -> libmyodbc5-5.1.5.so

# rpm -qf /usr/lib64/libmyodbc5.so
mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.5r1144-7.el6.x86_64

If there is no such file, but system requires it, reinstall mysql-connector-odbc package with command like below:

    # rpm -Uvh mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.5.rpm --force
