Database routines are not migrated

Symptoms

Routines (functions or procedures) in databases are not migrated during account migration in Plesk. The mysql.proc table is empty.

Cause

Routines are not migrated by default. Such a behavior has been considered as internal software issue with ID #PMT-2366 , which is fixed in Plesk Migrator version 0.1.12.

Resolution

Install latest Plesk microupdates: Home > Install Plesk updates .

Workaround

  1. Create dump of the required database on the source server, including routines:

    # mysqldump --routines -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` example > /root/example.sql
  2. Restore the database on the target server:

    # mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` example < /root/example.sql
