There are two possible causes:

  2. MailEnable configuration is broken.

Resolution

  1. In the MailEnable Administration console, navigate to Servers > localhost

  2. Right-click on localhost and access Properties

  3. Go to the Policies tab. If it is absent, contact Plesk technical support . If it is present, proceed to the following steps:

  4. Disable Prevent simple passwords option

  5. Rebuild the mail configuration:

    "%plesk_bin%\\mchk.exe" --all --fix=all
