Failed migration form CPanel to Plesk: Element 'group-map': This element is not expected

Applicable to:

  • Plesk for Linux
  • Plesk 12.0 for Linux

Symptoms

Migration from Cpanel to Plesk fails with the error:

    Line 2643 error: Element 'group-map': This element is not expected. Expected is one of ( include-item, exclude-item ).

Cause

Internal issue with ID PPPM-1867 . Incorrect order of elements in /usr/local/psa/PMM/pmm-common.xsd file. Due to it, Plesk migration agent cannot parse document /usr/local/psa/PMM/pmm-common.xsd properly.

'group-map' element should be placed below expected 'include-item' , 'exclude-item' .

Resolution

Solution in this case is change order of elements in /usr/local/psa/PMM/pmm-common.xsd . xml-element, that contained 'group-map' should be placed below expected 'include-item' , 'exclude-item' .

Edit /usr/local/psa/PMM/pmm-common.xsd file (please do not forget to create backup before) as below:

BEFORE changes:

    <xs:element ref="group-map" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
<xs:element name="include-item" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
<xs:element name="exclude-item" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>

AFTER changes:

    <xs:element name="include-item" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
<xs:element name="exclude-item" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
<xs:element ref="group-map" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
