When license is expired, the option Enable mail management functions in Plesk is automatically disabled, and when license is renewed, it won't automatically switch on again.

    This is a bug.

    Hello, @Marco Marsala!

Such sort of configuration can be applied by the license owner (in case the license is owned by one of our partners).

They have a special interface at https://central.plesk.com/ to apply certain actions on license renewal or expiration, so the case you describe looks like something configured there.

Get in contact with your hosting provider and explain the situation, I am sure they will be able to sort this out.

I had the same issue; mail tab was missing.

    /usr/local/psa/bin/mail --info user@example.com resulted in:

Mail service is not installed in Panel

It turned out that my rpmdb was corrupt.

failchk: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery
    # mkdir /var/lib/rpm/backup
    # cp -a /var/lib/rpm/__db* /var/lib/rpm/backup/
    # rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db.[0-9][0-9]*
    # rpm --quiet -qa
    # rpm --rebuilddb
    # yum clean all

    That solved it for me.

    Hello @Rein,

Thank you for sharing your experience. The cause of the issue is different but this steps may be useful for other Pleskians.
