The option Overuse policy is set to Overuse is allowed in Plesk in Service Plans > example_plan > Resources.
The resource Mailbox size is limited to some size in Service Plans > example_plan > Resources.
The subscription example.com is assigned to the service plan example_plan.
According to the column Usage in Domains > example.com > Email Addresses, one or several mail addresses reached or exceeded the set limit.
Despite that, email messages to these email addresses are still received successfully.
The option Overuse policy is set to Overuse is allowed in the service plan, so it is expected behavior that emails are still received for the mail addresses which exceeded the limit.
If emails to an email address should be rejected when its size reaches the limit set in Mailbox size, change the overuse policy in the service plan:
Go to Service Plans > example_plan > Resources.
Set the option Overuse policy either to Overuse is not allowed or Overuse of disk space and traffic is allowed.
Click Update & Sync to provision the changes to the subscriptions.
Note: If many subscriptions are assigned to a service plan, syncing process can take the significant amount of time.
