Question

How to retrieve Plesk admin password on Linux?

Answer

For Plesk 12.5 and lower:

Log in to the Plesk server via SSH as "root" and run the following command to find the Plesk admin password:

# plesk bin admin --show-password

or

# /usr/local/psa/bin/admin --show-password

For Plesk Onyx:

Since Plesk Onyx, one-time login links are used to access Plesk administration panel, instead of the passwords. A link can be generated using the following command:

# plesk login

or

#  plesk bin admin --get-login-link

    This gives me:

Due to security reasons the option '-show-password' is no longer supported. Use '--get-login-link' to generate a one-time login link.
