Plesk shows 403 Forbidden on Linux: sw-engine-fpm: WARNING: Nothing matches the include pattern

Symptoms

Unable to access Plesk. The following error is shown:

 403 Forbidden

sw-engine service can not be started with the following error:

 # service sw-engine start
Starting sw-engine-fpm: WARNING: Nothing matches the include pattern '/etc/sw-engine/pool.d/*.conf' from /etc/sw-engine/sw-engine-fpm.conf at line 6.
ERROR: No pool defined. at least one pool section must be specified in config file
ERROR: failed to post process the configuration
ERROR: FPM initialization failed
[FAILED]

Cause

Plesk packages are not installed properly or removed.

Resolution

Run Plesk autoinstaller and complete installation.

If the issue persists, recreate file manually:

# cat /etc/sw-engine/pool.d/plesk.conf
