Error: The component __php_support was not installed

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 10.x for Linux

Symptoms

Note: The article applies only to Debian/Ubuntu systems.

Unable to manage objects in Plesk:

Error: The component __php_support was not installed
Unable to apply plan changes to domain. Error: The plan was not applied: The component __php_support was not installed, phosting__php_handler_type_not_supported, The component __perl_unix_support was not installed, The component __python_unix_support was not installed

Also, on Components Management page PHP component is shown as not installed. The same information is stored in the database:

# MYSQL_PWD=`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` mysql -u admin psa -e"select * from Components"

SNMP agent is misconfigured:

# dpkg --configure -a
Errors were encountered while processing:

Cause

Misconfiguration of SNMP agent.

Resolution

Stop snmpd service:

# /etc/init.d/snmpd stop
* Stopping network management services:
# ps auxww | grep snmp | grep -v grep

Configure SNMP agent:

    # dpkg --configure snmpd
Setting up snmpd (5.4.2.1~dfsg0ubuntu1-0ubuntu2.2) ...
update-rc.d: warning: snmpd stop runlevel arguments (1) do not match LSB Default-Stop values (0 1 6)
* Starting network management services:
