SSL is not working for MailEnable. How to enable SSL/TLS/STARTTLS for MailEnable mail server?
Until version 9.10, SSL encryption is available in non-free MailEnable editions (Professional, Enterprise editions). Please refer to the documentation below to see how to enable SSL/TLS:
According to MailEnable release announcement , since version 9.10 SSL and TLS Support was added to Standard edition as well.
Once MailEnable >= 9.10 is installed and SSL certificate has been configured in the “Personal Certificates” store of the Computer Account, open SSL tab in MailEnable Administration Program > Server >Localhost > Properties and select the certificate.
To enable SSL/TLS support for IMAP on 143/tcp
- Open Settings tab in MailEnable Administration Program > Services and Connectors > IMAP and check "Enable SSL/TLS support"
- Restart IMAP service
