Each time a website user tries to purchase our customer's product (from the eShop page), the following error occurs on the PayPal page, once the users are redirected to it:
The seller accepts encrypted website payments only. You cannot pay the seller through un-encrypted buttons. Please contact your seller for more details.
This happens even if we are already signed in to a PayPal account.
According to " Why is my PayPal account blocking payments from un-encrypted buttons? ":
If your customers receive this error message, you can turn off the PayPal® Encrypted Website Payments feature in your PayPal account profile.
To Turn Off the PayPal Encrypted Website Payments Feature
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click Profile .
- From the Selling Preferences column , click Website Payment Preferences .
- In the Encrypted Website Payments section, select Off .
- Click Save .
