Default Domain Page is shown instead of website content

Symptoms

  1. Default Domain Page or Default Apache Page is shown instead of website content

  2. The following error is shown in Plesk:

    New configuration files for the Apache web server were not created due to the errors in configuration templates: Destination directory '/etc/nginx/plesk.conf.d/vhosts' not exist.
  3. Apache reconfiguration fails with the following error:

    # /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all
    [2015-02-20 12:29:00] ERR [util_exec] proc_close() failed Error occured while sending feedback. HTTP code returned: 502
    [2015-02-20 12:29:02] ERR [panel] Apache config (14244317390.12254900) generation failed: Template_Exception: Destination directory '/etc/nginx/plesk.conf.d/vhosts' not exist file: /opt/psa/admin/plib/Template/Writer/Webserver/Abstract.php line: 75 code: 0
    Destination directory '/etc/nginx/plesk.conf.d/vhosts' not exist

Cause

Directory /etc/nginx/plesk.conf.d/vhosts does not exist or it is empty.

Resolution

  1. Create missing directory if does not exist:

    # mkdir /etc/nginx/plesk.conf.d/vhosts
  2. Re-create apache configuration files:

    # /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all
