    Hello @suresh,

Am I correct that you use IP address to access Plesk?

To have the connection shown as secured try to access Plesk using the subdomain for which certificate was issued.

    Hi Ivan,

    Thanks for replying.
I have tried using subdomain, but it's directed to main domain website with webaite security warning.

    Hello, @suresh.

I suggest setting the same certificate in Tools & Settings > IP addresses > IP Address > Default Certificate.

Also, restart sw-engine and sw-cp-server by executing the following commands via SSH:

    # service sw-engine restart
    # service sw-cp-server restart

    Hi Alexandr Shadrin

I did executed the two commands. Still not working.

    Once again explaining the problem,

I had a server with hostname

    domainname assinged to 88.198.xx.xx

So is subdomain with plesk login 88.198.xx.xx:8443

    'A' record updated for

Tools & Settings > IP addresses > IP Address > Default Certificate

New "lets encrypt certificate (server pool)" obtained through wizard Tools & Settings>ssl/tls certificate

    Hi, @suresh!

If I understand you correctly, you are using IP address like to access Plesk Interface. Then SSL warning that you are seeing occurs because IP address cannot be presented in Certificate Authority Section, this section is the list of domain names for what SSL certificate is valid for, for example certificate for is valid for and *, but not for the IP address, see

This is a common practice and you should use to get into Plesk in case you want to avoid SSL warnings.

You are right. I forgotten or missed the difference between IP form and name form. Now I can see the secure lock symbol in this form:

    Thank you Alexandr Shadrin
