Upgrade is running too long. How to verify that upgrade from old Plesk version is not hanged?

Answer

  1. Download Process Explorer and Process Monitor into your server.
  2. In Process Explorer find some processes with name msiexec.exe and his child processes.Determine PID of the last child process.

  3. Using Process Monitor apply a filter which you determined in previous step.

  4. Click Ctrl+E to start caprture.

    If you can find any acitivity the upgrade process is running.
