Apache on Debian/Ubuntu reconfiguration failed with Call to a member function ... on a non-object

Symptoms

Apache web server reconfigure failing with one of the following errors:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all

PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function deleteAdditionalConfigFiles() on a non-object in /opt/psa/admin/plib/api-common/Httpdmng.php on line 148

Details: PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function getScheme() on a non-object in /opt/psa/admin/plib/WebServerManager/Adapter/Apache.php on line 800

Cause

Plesk packages inconsistency.

Resolution

  1. Remove all not relevant 'sources.list' files from /etc/apt/
  2. Verify that sources.list contain links to the current OS version
  3. Run apt-get update and then re-run Plesk autoinstaller
