Website Preview shows 403 Forbidden

The following error is received when trying to preview a website:

403 Forbidden


This is Plesk bug with ID #PPPM-4051 which was fixed in Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 .


Upgrade to the latest Plesk version .

As a workaround, perform the following actions twice:

  1. Go to Tools & Settings > Website Preview and make sure that Default Quick Preview option is chosen.
  2. Click OK

    It is hard to tell what the "Resolution" is asking us to do.  "Default Quick Preview" is a radio button.  I'm pretty sure if you click it twice, nothing much is going to happen.  This is a very frustrating bug that is well enough understood to have an ID.  Please share a bit more so we can implement a work round until the fix is available.
