Note: This article has the reference to the issue with the fix available:

After changing from "Default Quick Preview" to "Quick Preview on an external domain name", the site preview is not accessible:
CONFIG_TEXT: 403 Forbidden
Server IP address is removed from
This is Plesk bug with ID #PPPM-4051 which was fixed in Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 .
For Plesk Onyx 17.5, install the latest Plesk micro-updates .
For Plesk Onyx 17.0 and earlier Plesk versions, consider upgrading to the latest Plesk version .
If the upgrade is not acceptable, apply a workaround:
Go to Plesk > Tools & Settings > Website Preview, select Default Quick Preview and click OK.
1. Login to Plesk via SSH
2. Identify server IP addresses:
# ip a
3. Add the IP addresses to trusted IPs list, for example:
# echo "server_ip" >> /etc/sw-cp-server/conf.d/trusted_ips.inc
