Various issues related to Mailenable

Symptoms

Unable to send and receive emails using Mailenable, despite of activity logs shows that emails were delivered to/(sent from) server:

Cause

MTA settings were changed or configured manually.

Resolution

  1. Check the registry settings for the MTA Mailenable service. In the command line, type:
    reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\Mail Enable\\Mail Enable\\Agents\\MTA" | findstr Pick

You will receive output as below:

    Pickup Event Enabled    REG_DWORD    0x1
Pickup Event Timeout REG_DWORD 0xea60
Pickup Event Command Enabled REG_DWORD 0x0
Pickup Event Class Name REG_SZ pleskmemta.PleskMEMTA

  1. If the output is different, please correct the MTA service settings in the registry (Start > Run > regedit.exe) as shown above.

  2. Restart Mailenable services.
