Plesk 11.5 new directory structure

Question

Virtual host directory structure for domains created before upgrade/transfer to Parallels Plesk 11.5 has symlinks. Why have they been created?

Answer

File structure for virtual hosts has been renewed in Plesk 11.5 . Refer to Plesk 11.5 release notes . New file structure applies only to newly created domains. All domains created before upgrade/transfer to Plesk 11.5 have symlinks for compatibility. Please check Plesk Administrator's Guide for more details.
