Business Monitoring tasks no longer being automatically ran as scheduled

Symptoms

Task in Business Manager are not being ran as scheduled.

Cause

Incorrect hostname or certificate is used for connection to Plesk in config.ini .

    # grep 8443 /opt/plesk-billing/task-manager/config/config.ini
url = "https://localhost:8443/plesk-billing/task-manager.php"

# curl https://localhost:8443/plesk-billing/task-manager.php
curl: (51) SSL: certificate subject name 'domain.tld' does not match target host name 'localhost'

Resolution

Make sure that full hostname and correct certificate is used for connection to Plesk in config.ini . You should be able to connect to Plesk with Curl utility:

    # grep 8443 /opt/plesk-billing/task-manager/config/config.ini

# curl https://domain.tld:8443/plesk-billing/task-manager.php
