Cause

Resolution

Make sure that the MAIL_PROVIDERW_DLL registry value includes the correct path to the .dll :

  1. Run the following command in command line to find currently specified path:

    reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\PLESK\\PSA Config\\Config" | findstr MAIL_PROVIDERW_DLL
    MAIL_PROVIDERW_DLL REG_SZ C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\admin\\bin\\mailenableproviderw.dll
  2. Backup "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\PLESK\\PSA Config\\Config" registry key:

    • Open regedit.exe
    • Navigate to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\PLESK\\PSA Config\\Config" registry key > right click on it > Export > save file
  3. Correct the value data for MAIL_PROVIDERW_DLL . The .dll should be located in the "%plesk_bin%" folder. Run the following command to find the "%plesk_bin%" path on your server:

    set | findstr plesk_bin
    plesk_bin=C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\admin\\bin

    The following .dll are used:
