Symptoms

Website publishing fails on 97%.

In %plesk_dir%\\admin\\logs\\panel.log you can see an error:

Cause

.Security file is corrupted for the subscription.

Resolution

  1. Rename C:\\inetpub\\vhosts\\subcription.tld\\.plesk\\.Security file to securityold .

  2. Publish website again.

Note: .plesk folder may be hidden. You need to enable hidden files view first:

  1. Launch Control Panel

  2. Go to Folder Options and choose the View tab.

  3. Select Show hidden files, folders, and drives radio button under Hidden files and folders section
