Default value of 128M is used for PHP Handler despite the fact that another is set in PHP Settings

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.5 for Linux

Symptoms

  1. Default value of 128M is used for PHP Handler despite the fact that another is set in domain's PHP Settings . Applications which require greater value cannot be installed.

  2. There is no memory_limit parameter in domain's php.ini file.

    # cat /var/www/vhosts/system/plesktest.tld/etc/php.ini | grep memory_limit
    #
  3. In Home > Subscriptions > example.com > PHP Settings default value for memory_limit parameter is differ than 128M

Cause

Some custom fix is applied on the server which affects Plesk functionality.

Resolution

Set required custom value for memory_limit parameter which is higher than 128M in Home > Subscriptions > example.com > PHP Settings
