- Plesk for Linux
The outgoing mail limits control do not work for PHP scripts. Therefore, scripts that are using a PHP mail function can be executed countless amounts of times in spite of properly configured outbound limitations.
Allow users and scripts to use Sendmail option is enabled in Tools&Settings > Mail Server Settings.
If it is enabled, scripts are allowed to use sendmail utility that is not tracked by Outgoing mail control.
- Log into Plesk.
- Go to Tools & Settings > Mail Server Settings.
- Disable the Allow users and scripts to use Sendmail option.
- Scroll down and press the OK button to apply the changes.
Note: Since Plesk 12.5 and above option Allow users and scripts to use Sendmail is enabled it still will be counted by Outgoing mail limits feature. The maximum number of messages that can be sent will be defined by the limit for a corresponding entire subscription.
