Symptoms

You see the following rows in migration log

Warning:     database user "username"
Failed deployment of database user username of database databasename
Warning:
Execution of %plesk_bin%\\database.exe --update databasename -add_user username -server localhost:3306 -type mysql -print-id -passwd "" -passwd_type sym -ignore-nonexistent-options failed with return code 1.
Stderr is
A database user with the name "username" already exists.

Cause

The same usernames in databases on source and destination

Resolution

  1. In mysql client run the following to get conflicting database and domain name

    mysql> select name from domains where id in (select dom_id from data_bases where id in (select db_id from db_users where login ='username'));

    mysql> select name from data_bases where id in (select db_id from db_users where login ='username');
  2. On the domain management page go to 'Databases', select required database and change username to another.

  3. After that, remigrate the domain or subscription.
