WordPress "Change settings" button shows the error: "Call to a member function getOwner() on a non-object"

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.0 for Windows

Symptoms

Managing Wordpress in Plesk > WordPress > Wordpress instance > Change Settings fails with below error message:

ERROR: Call to a member function getOwner() on a non-object (HostingDatabase.php:31)

Cause

This is a Plesk internal issue with id #PPPM-2391 and it has been completely fixed since Plesk 12.0.18 MU #36 ..

Workaround

It is recommended to install latest Plesk update for resolving this issue.

ALso note that you can manage WordPress settings via Plesk Control Panel: Subscriptions > {subscription name} > Applications > Manage My Application > {instance} > Change Settings .
