Answer

To update or upgrade Plesk installation through the command line:

  1. Connect to the server using SSH/RDP.
  2. Download the Plesk Installer utility for your operating system from https://page.plesk.com/plesk-onyx-free-download and save it on the server hard drive:

    For Windows:

    Open a web browser on the server and download Plesk Installer.

    For Linux:

    Download Plesk Installer using the wget utility:

    # wget https://autoinstall.plesk.com/plesk-installer

  3. Run Plesk Installer:

    For Linux:

    # chmod +x plesk-installer
    # ./plesk-installer

    Or:

    # plesk installer

    For Windows:

    C:\> "%plesk_bin%"\ai.exe --console

    Or:

    C:\> plesk installer --console
