Symptoms

Website displays an " Internal error ":

HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\Additional\\PleskPHP5\\php-cgi.exe - The FastCGI process exited unexpectedly

Cause

  1. Some PHP module cannot be loaded.

Resolution

  1. Go to command line and make sure that PHP loads without any error with command php -m :

    `%plesk_dir%\\Additional\\PleskPHP5\\php.exe -m`

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\Additional\\PleskPHP5\\ext\\php_pdo_mysql.dll' - The specified module could not be found.

  3. If it is absent, disable the mentioned module ( php_pdo_mysql.dll in our case) in php.ini .

For Plesk 12:
