Cannot login to Plesk after upgrade

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.0 for Windows


Plesk login is stuck.


Issue with Plesk-Mobile extension after Plesk upgrade to version 12.


To resolve the issue, follow the steps bellow:

  1. Enable debug log by using the article .

  2. Make an attempt to log in to Plesk GUI.

  3. Check php_error.log at %pelsk_bin%\\admin\\logs\\ - it ends with the following record:

    [2014-10-23 12:01:05] DEBUG [dbquery] [37] SQL: SELECT [Modules].* FROM [Modules] AS [Modules] WHERE ([name] = 'plesk-mobile')
    [2014-10-23 12:01:05] DEBUG [dbquery] [37] END: 0.0013701915740967 sec
  4. Create Plesk database backup:

    > mysqldump -uadmin -p"<plesk_pass_here>" -P8306 psa > C:\\psa_backup.sql
  5. Uninstall the Plesk-Mobile through CLI:

    > "%plesk_bin%\\extension.exe" -u plesk-mobile
  6. Set read/write permissions for psaadm user on %plesk_dir%\\var directory.

  7. Install extension via GUI:

Home -> Server management -> Extensions -> Extensions catalog -> Parallels Panel Mobile Center

  1. Make sure the database is updated:
    mysql> select * from modules\\G;
