Autoresponder/antivirus/antispam do not work with MailEnable if non-standard Queues folder is used

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 11.0 for Windows
  • Plesk 11.5 for Windows
  • Plesk 12.0 for Windows

Symptoms

  1. Autoresponder/antivirus/antispam does not work with MailEnable.

  2. MailEnable "Connector Root Directory" is not inside of "Data Directory":

    C:\\>reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\Mail Enable\\Mail Enable" | findstr Data
    Data Directory REG_SZ C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\Mail Servers\\Mail Enable

    C:\\>reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\Mail Enable\\Mail Enable\\Connectors" | findstr Directory
    Connector Root Directory REG_SZ E:\\Mail\\Queues

Cause

Plesk is Plesk internal issue with ID #PPPM-804 , which was fixed in Plesk 12.0.

Resolution

Upgrade to the latest Plesk version .
