When I try to change the IP address of a domain, the IP address is changed for the domain only, and not for its subdomains. Sometimes the following error is shown as well:
Error: Failed to updated ip. Can't set to addon domain ip different from webspace ip
The issue is caused by error in the product and may occur if the Hosting settings management option is enabled in the subscription.
- Change the domain's IP address back to the previous value.
- Disable the Hosting settings management option on the domain subscription.
- Change the IP address again.
Note: If the workaround does not solve the issue, move files from the custom fix to Plesk directory (Windows only).
Note: consider to upgrade Plesk to the latest version. This issue was fixed in it.
