Unable to access CalDAV: No basic authentication headers were found

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.5 for Linux

Symptoms

CalDAV links from Horde webmail are inaccessible:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

CalDAV service does not allow to log in trying to integrate Horde calendar.

Cause

Internal issue with id #PPPM-4173 ; the fix is considered to be included in one of the next Plesk updates.

Workaround

  1. Add directive FcgidPassHeader Authorization into fcgid.conf configuration file:

  2. For Debian:

        # grep FcgidPassHeader /etc/apache2/mods-available/fcgid.conf
    FcgidPassHeader Authorization
    • For CentOS
      # grep FcgidPassHeader /etc/httpd/conf.d/fcgid.conf
      FcgidPassHeader Authorization
      1. Restart Apache service:
  3. For Debian:

        # service apache2 restart
  4. For CentOS 7:

        # systemctl restart httpd.service
