Backup fails with the errror: "Not enough disk space for backing up data"

Symptoms

Unable to created Plesk backup:

     Error: "Not enough disk space for backing up data"

But there is enough free space for storing backup file.

Cause

This is an internal issue with ID #PPPM-1529 , which is planned to be fixed in future product updates.

Workaround

  1. For Plesk 12.0, download this file . For Plesk 10.2, download this file .

  2. Unzip the archive

  3. Create a backup of C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\admin\\lib\\python\\osutil.py file by copying it to different location or renaming it.

  4. Place unzipped osutil.py file to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\admin\\lib\\python\\ folder
